No, but it certainly helps, and based on Dylan’s mannerisms in this video, it’s safe to ume there’s a good possibility he’s high. It really makes no difference, though. He’s a very smart man, regardless of what state of mind he’s in.

You obviously are worried about what he thinks. Try basing your opinions on what you think, not what you think Dylan wants. That’s what I’m doing. I think Dylan is an intelligent poet and if he doesn’t like that, why do I care? I don’t base my opinions off of Dylan’s. And I think the last thing that Dylan wanted was for s like you to overanalyze his personality to the point where they tell someone to themselves.

I’m sorry. I didn’t realize I was speaking with Bob Dylan’s personal speaker. Tell him I’m sorry. Listen. Dylan just hated the idea of people idolizing him. Do you think he would really find it insulting if I said that I thought he was smart? Of course he wouldn’t. I think he’s a smart man, and I’m allowed to enjoy his music; after all, that’s why he makes it. And if we’re gonna talk about what Dylan would think about us, he probably wouldn’t like that you have to worry about what he thinks.
